TEO Academy applies one 14% platform commission rate to lesson earnings, including paid trial lessons. Preply publishes a different structure: 100% commission on a trial lesson with each new student, followed by a sliding commission on subsequent lessons that starts at 33% for new tutors and can fall to 18% as completed teaching hours increase.
