JL Academy Ltd is a specialist learning and development provider delivering CPD-certified training, executive coaching, and consultancy for organisations in the private, charitable and public sectors.
JLA was founded by James Hourihan in 2025 as Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Member of the Institute of Directors, with an executive MBA from Keele University, JL Academy brings more than thirty years of sector experience to every programme it delivers.
Our online provision through TEO Academy covers three specialist areas: psychological safety for senior leaders and teams, positive behaviour management, and leadership and coaching development. All programmes are purposefully structured, tutor-supported, and designed to produce genuine behavioural change, not just completion certificates.
JL Academy can provide the Bild ACT certified training through Timian Learning and Development.
CPD certificates are issued on completion of certified programmes (Provider No. 87189427).
We work with NHS Trusts, local authorities, independent providers, schools, and third sector organisations across the UK.
