Hi,

I am from Australia. I have 4 and a half years experience on Cambly as a tutor.

I have nearly 5 years experience as a high school teacher in the northeastern region of Thailand.

The reasons I love teaching are that it is rewarding, and satisfying as a career. Over the years, I have witnessed the transformation of quite a number of individuals in their English Language learning journey. It has been an inspiring and uplifting experience for me as an educator. Seeing what individuals can do after toiling away and persisting in their efforts is powerful. Rome wasn't built in a day, and individuals who keep progressing in their language learning journey demonstrate this time and again.

It is satisfying for me personally as a job, as I get to form good working relationships with worthy and decent individuals. I rate these interactions as enriching experiences for me. I also learn about people, and how to help them better. I started my online tutoring journey nearly five years ago, and no doubt have grown as an individual, being better able to customise what I offer to various types of students.

I also love teaching because I wish to develop people and help them be better versions of themselves, and achieve important goals, such as language fluency.

I think teaching allows me to express myself well as an individual and be authentic, enabling me to connect with the right individuals. I am a very informal type of person, and I try to inject fun into my interactions and make it light hearted, so as to remove the stress element out of learning.

I too am a foreign language learner. I have been learning the fascinating Thai Language for almost five years. I believe this puts me in a good position to put myself in the shoes of English Language learners.
